James Taylor is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound JUJU had last weekend. According to Taylor, a groomer allegedly taped Jujur's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.

Taylor explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Jujur's paws were visibly red and injured, with the toenails cut too close to the paw, which likely provoked his biting reaction."

Puppy Lux, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.

James immediately took Juju to the veterinarian for urgent medical attention. He has accused Puppy Lux of animal abuse, joining numerous others who have made similar allegations. San Mateo initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.

James explained the injuries that he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."

Jack Smithr, a customer of Puppy Lux, posted a review on Yelp, detailing how his pets were returned to him injured or unwell. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

PuppyLux wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. James said, "Jonny told me that tapering the mouth animal abuse drawings shut was a normal, acceptable method. He claimed it is better than using a muzzle which, according to him, can be harmful for dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."

Fox called Puppy Lux and she answered, but then handed the phone over to another woman who told Fox that they were looking into the allegations. She quickly responded that Puppy Lux was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
